Build Your Film Site (BYFS) began after our own costly and challenging experience creating a website for our film. We decided it was time to create the solution to our issue! BYFS is the first site builder designed for filmmakers.

For an independent filmmaker, a website is the most important distribution and marketing tool. Our mission is to create a service that is not only affordable and professional, but includes essential distribution and marketing tools tailored for filmmakers. Finishing your film is just the beginning of the distribution process. You'll have press coverage, festivals, lectures, special events, and news which you'll want to announce to your audience. With BYFS, filmmakers now have the tools to update their website easily without relying on an outside source to come to the rescue.

Yoram Schaffer

Yoram is a Documentary Filmmaker and Producer since 1995. He has produced documentaries for National Geographic Channels International and History Channel US. He is Editor of Docmovies.com, a leading documentary film site. He studied film at IIIS in Paris. Following his research in New Media and Filmmaking, Yoram developed successful models for the integration of documentary films and Serious Games. He is author of The Co-Pro Guide for Film Festivals Film Funds.

Kobi Shely

Kobi’s documentary MacHEADS launched in January 2009 and hit top sales and rentals with #1 most popular movie on Hulu and Snagfilms, and #2 on iTunes and Amazon VOD. Following it's popular demand on the internet, CNBC purchased the film for broadcast. Kobi holds a BA in Film from Hunter College in New York. His short film, Intervention, won "" award at San Francisco Brainwash Film Festival.
